Nilas is a Mechanical Design Engineer with a BEng in Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark (DTU). His background uniquely combines strong academic knowledge with extensive hands-on experience.

Before joining Soltech, Nilas was a Cabinetmaker and, alongside that, ran his own motorcycle repair & custom build business. This blend of craftsmanship and engineering gives him a practical mindset that fits perfectly with our approach at Soltech – where both theoretical understanding and hands-on skills are highly valued.

Nilas is often the customers’ first point of contact and guides them through the entire process – from initial sketches, through design planning and cost estimation, to CAD modelling, prototyping, and final product delivery. He brings creativity, precision, and problem-solving ability to every project, helping us turn complex ideas into high-quality, functional solutions. As an essential part of most projects, Nilas delivers in documentation of the final products, the materials, and procedures involved, ensuring clarity and traceability throughout development.
